Place the new handle onto the outside of the door. Install your door hardware according to the included instructions and placement template. Install drip cap and latch rail step 4. Drill 1 8 pilot hole on all holes.

Install door installation screws from bag c on the outer side of hinge rail. After you ve double checked the alignment and proper operation of your larson storm door predrill the holes and fasten the latch rail to your brickmould with screws. If the spindles included with your replacement handle set are too long you can cut them to length. Tighten screw while pushing top of hinge rail tight against the door frame.

The door will settle approx. Get or price the larson low e clear view storm. With the handle on the door the spindle should extend 5 16 through the other side the storm door fig. Insert latch assembly into latch hole fig.

Fold template along dotted line prior to taping. Follow the drilling instructions on the template. Drill holes straight through door fig. Tape the template on the inside of the storm door as indicated on the template.

Slide the rail extender down to the doorsill. Fold along the dashed lines place along edge of door on latch side for hinged door only place this side of template. It should not touch the mechanism of the inside latch. 5a 5c 5d hang storm door onto door frame using the placeholder screw.

Then move it down so it barely touches the doorsill. Make sure the storm door latch will not hit against your inside door knob. Move up or down to adjust using the enclosed template as your guide center punch and drill the three holes for the latch with a 5 16 drill bit.
