To turn off control lock press and hold the options key that says control lock hold 3 sec under it for 3 seconds.
If the door hinges are damaged the door won t be able to latch properly.
You may need to disable sleep mode by pressing either start resume or cancel or by opening and closing the door before you are able to turn the control lock off.
Use the control lock 4 hour delay or whatever button you used to disengage the lock.
If it continues flashing the button is likely stuck.
The control lock prevents children from causing damage to the dishwasher by operating it incorrectly and more importantly prevents injury to children if they try to open or operate the machine.
